THE DAILY KNEADS Ltd., a Egyptian company, is committed to delivering fresh, high-quality food products to our valued customers across Cairo. This Shipping & Delivery Policy outlines our delivery process, coverage areas, and terms.

1. Delivery Coverage

1.1. Service Areas. We currently deliver to the following areas in Greater Cairo:

  • New Cairo

  • Zamalek
  • Heliopolis
  • Nasr City
  • Downtown Cairo
  • 5th Settlement
  • Mokattam
  • Rehab City
  • Sheraton

1.2. Delivery Fees. Delivery fees range from 25 to 45 EGP depending on your location. The exact delivery fee is calculated automatically at checkout based on your selected delivery area and will be clearly displayed before you complete your order.

2. Order Processing Time

2.1. Preparation Time. All food orders are freshly prepared upon confirmation of payment. Standard preparation time is 30-60 minutes, depending on order size and current kitchen capacity.

2.2. Order Confirmation. You will receive an email confirmation immediately after placing your order. Once your payment is confirmed, we will begin preparing your order.

3. Delivery Process

3.1. Estimated Delivery Time. Standard delivery time is 45-90 minutes from order confirmation, depending on your location and current delivery volume. We strive to deliver all orders as quickly as possible while maintaining our quality standards.

3.2. Real-Time Order Tracking. You can track your order status in real-time through your account dashboard. You will receive notifications when your order status changes:

  • Confirmed: Payment received and order confirmed
  • Preparing: Our kitchen is preparing your order
  • Out for Delivery: Your order is on its way
  • Delivered: Order has been delivered

4. Delivery Requirements

4.1. Complete Address. Please ensure you provide a complete and accurate delivery address including building number, floor, apartment number, and any special instructions (gate code, landmark, etc.).

4.2. Contact Information. A valid phone number is required for delivery. Our delivery partner may contact you if they need directions or clarification.

4.3. Recipient Availability. Please ensure someone is available to receive the order at the delivery address. We are not responsible for delays caused by recipient unavailability.

5. Delivery Attempts

5.1. Failed Delivery. If our delivery partner is unable to reach you or deliver the order due to incorrect address information or recipient unavailability, they will attempt to contact you by phone.

5.2. Undeliverable Orders. If the order cannot be delivered after reasonable attempts, it will be returned to our location. Due to the perishable nature of our products, we cannot offer refunds for undelivered orders caused by customer-related issues.

6. Food Safety & Quality

6.1. Packaging. All food items are packaged securely to maintain freshness and prevent spillage during delivery.

6.2. Temperature Control. Our delivery partners are instructed to maintain proper temperature control for all food items during transit.

6.3. Inspection Upon Delivery. Please inspect your order upon delivery. If you notice any issues with the packaging or food quality, please contact us immediately at INFO@THEDAILYKNEADS.COM.

7. Order Modifications

7.1. Before Preparation. You may modify or cancel your order by contacting us immediately after placing it, but only if the order has not yet entered the preparation stage.

7.2. After Preparation Begins. Once your order is being prepared, modifications or cancellations are not possible due to the perishable nature of our products.

8. Special Circumstances

8.1. Weather Conditions. Severe weather conditions may affect delivery times. We will notify you of any significant delays.

8.2. High-Demand Periods. During peak hours, holidays, or special events, delivery times may be longer than usual. We appreciate your patience during these periods.

8.3. Force Majeure. We are not liable for delays or failures in delivery caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, civil unrest, or government restrictions.

9. Customer Responsibilities

By placing an order for delivery, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete delivery information
  • Be available to receive the order or arrange for someone to receive it on your behalf
  • Inspect the order upon delivery and report any issues immediately
  • Handle food items properly after delivery to maintain safety and quality
